Topics and concepts to focus on

All motion in the horizontal direction is independent of motion in the vertical direction. ALL PROBLEMS ARE ONE DIMENSIONAL PROBLEMS

Interesting note: Cannon showing angle and range of a projectile.

A projectile launched at 450 has the maximum range, even changes in angle greater than and less than the 450 angle will result in equal range, trading altitude.300 and 600 have the same range with 600 having the maximum altitude.

Laboratories

Activity: Reaction timer

Activity: Finding g in the lab.

Lab: "Bull's Eye" i.e. Shoot for A bonus

Misconceptions
Gravity accelerated objects horizontally.
Do you want to know more?

Use cannon to blowup a target by setting variables.
