Part 1

• Objective: prove that the law of reflection holds for a plane mirror.
• Construct the image of the pin as described in the handout.
• Build a data table that shows the angle of reflection and incidence.

Part 2

• Apply the law of reflection to the sketch of the periscope and object arrow for each of its orientations..
  • You must show the geometry of the ray of light.
    • Angle of incidence, normal and angle of reflection for each reflection.
• Draw a line segment that show the path the light follows to form the orientation of the image at the eye piece.
